Warm Up to Nakato Japanese Steakhouse

Are you tired of eating the same old thing every weekend while feeling cooped up like a caged animal, because it’s cold outside?

If so, it’s time to shake up your routine a little and get out of that stuffy house. We know a great local Japanese People walk bundled up in the snow on Tryon St. in Charlotte, N.C., on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014. (Diedra Laird/Charlotte Observer/MCT) ORG XMIT: 1148451restaurant in Charlotte where you can escape the cold and boredom for a little while. Nakato Japanese restaurant is a popular place to hang out with family and friends. In addition to our Japanese Restaurant in Charlotte, we also have a Japanese restaurant in Springfield.

Both locations offer a warm and inviting atmosphere and plenty of food choices for everyone in your group. We know it’s chilly outside, but you’ll quickly warm up once your group is seated at one of our hibachi tables. One of the hidden benefits at eating at a Japanese steakhouse is that we have hibachi grills scattered among the dining room, and these grills not only cook your food, they also keep you nice and cozy during your visit.

We Grill – You Watch

At Nakato, we follow the Japanese steakhouse tradition of grilling food orders right in front of you, and you’ll enjoy watching our expert chefs perform their culinary skills. Our chefs are specially trained to expertly chop, dice and flip food items on our hibachi grills. This is our way of entertaining you before the meal begins, and it sure beats drumming your fingers on the table, waiting for the kitchen to bring out your dinner.

The type and longevity of the chef show at your table depends on what is ordered and the number of servings the Charlotte-02-150x150chef must prepare. Once your food is cooked nice and tender, your chef serves up the hot food on plates, and you can start chowing down.

Warm Up to Our Menu

Whether you visit our sushi bar in Charlotte or our sushi bar in Springfield, you’ll have plenty of menu items to choose from. Our menu is separated into convenient themes so you can order more easily. If you’re a fan of grilled meat and seafood, check out the tappan yaki menu items that feature prime New York strip steak, chicken and seafood selections such as the always popular shrimp. Other grilled favorites are grilled scallops and tender salmon. Grilled entrees are served with savory sides, and you receive generous portions.

We also have a sushi menu that features our scrumptious sushi rolls, and this menu is where you’ll find some of Nakato’s most popular rolls. We also serve sushi that combines slices of fresh fish and decorative vegetables on beds of premium white rice. Each sushi platter comes with your choice of dipping sauces, and these too will warm your stomach.

Got Room for Dessert?

We may not be best known for our desserts, but we do offer you a few delicious sweet treats to top off your fabulous meal. Sharing dessert with your fellow diners is a good way to sample everything on our dessert menu.

Put your coat on and venture out to Nakato this weekend. Stay warm while indulging your craving for authentic Japanese steakhouse food.
